Rode for 400+ today, arrived at wentworth and stayed at valley in , right at the foot of the highest peak in nova scotia, next morning we left for Liverpool and met Alec's grandma, got a room at Morton house b&b, nice place, toured the area, ran into a lot of nice people. Roads a little rough around the area but lots of turns. Town lost its big employer and is slowly losing all it's business. To bad this is a nice town on the mersey river. See photos of it attached. Heading to Digby on day 8 for 1 or 2 nights for whale watching.

Day 5

We left this morning from New Gloucester Maine , roads were bad for a lot of the latter part of day, arrived in new Brunswick around 8. We met two guys from Toronto ,Peterborough and followed them to st Andrews on the sea, these guys were trying to catch up to us in Maine. They met us at a gas station and hit it off pretty good next thing you know we were having dinner with them. There were a lot of good roads also prior to the last hour and a half. Took 4,6, and some others
I have to look at map to be sure. They booked us a room at tara garden motel, huge room, out of the 80s, tacky but nice. Nite nite.

This ones for jenn

While in salem we found out that the so called "witches", most of them lived in Salem village which is now called Danvers. There was a salem town and a Salem village and they hung them on Gallows Hill and that was in the village. Salem village was the farming community. It seems the preacher got things really going for the mass hysteria, his flock (congregation)was small and he wanted it bigger, the farming community would not support him or pay his wages, he cried Satan, then kids were saying, that some of the accused came to them as spectres and made them act wild, all along they were being coerced by local law and preacher. All innocent ,a sad time for an already troubled community.

Day 4

Arrived in new Gloucester @400, booked a room at a b&b called chandlers, take a look at the photos of this place, gorgeous! Something out of a Stephen king book. We lost our road atlas book, so I can't tell you where we were so I will try by memory, stopped in Durham I think and bought loaned from some up and coming .businessmen, check the photos mason. The roads are pretty good so fa, just a few were in bad shape. We traveled on 4 and us1 for most of trip when I get a map tomorrow I will fill in the blanks of where we stopped and drove through, weather has been good so far, missing a lot of rain. Well night night.
