Ferry to saint John

Saint John

Every once in a while you meet someone that you will all ways remember, with that I begin my story which is true. We came off the ferry in NB and went to the first Tim's we could find with the help of kid on the street, who was about 8-9 years old, arrived there and got a coffee, we were outside when this guy drove over and started talking to us, turns out he has a bike too, Vulcan done up nicely, as we were talking he wanted to know if we would like to tour the area with him on his bike. We said yes and asked us where we were staying, he chauffeured us to the hotel and came back and took us to st martens caves and around the city, see pictures. One was the blockhouse, a fort and through the country side. We said we wanted to buy him dinner for the tour, he said he would meet us at the hotel and go to the boardwalk for dinner. After pleasant conversation we had dinner. Got to know him, ex veteran of military a decent guy. He bought our dinner, I was shocked and pleased. His name is Joe Mackin and will keep in touch . He was quite a lovable guy and that's what keeps us coming back to the coast, just nice people all down here.
